Digital Payments & Inclusion
The problem
Cash is slow to count, easy to lose and impossible to reconcile. Most customers have no card, many have no bank account, and every app that wants to take payments has to negotiate its own bank connection.
How we solve it
BM Pay is one connection to BSP Pay shared by every Blockchain Melanesia app and by the store, so customers pay with their BSP account and a one-time code on their phone. The BM wallet lets people without a bank account load cash at a Konekt agent and spend it in any BM app. Bisnis Stoa runs a trade store's till, stock and book-up; Dinau Buk records small lending.
What's included
- BSP Pay at checkout: customer number plus mobile one-time code, no card details typed in
- BM wallet top-ups in cash at Konekt agents
- Bisnis Stoa point of sale, stock and book-up for trade stores
- Dinau Buk for book-up and small lending records
- One ledger for every payment, reconciled by BM staff from BM Dash

Common questions
Is the BM wallet regulated?
Blockchain Melanesia is working with the Bank of Papua New Guinea to secure its e-money licence for the BM wallet. No licence has been granted yet, and we say so plainly everywhere on this site.
Can my business take payments through BM Pay?
Tell us what you sell in the quote form. Bisnis Stoa is built for trade stores; other businesses can be onboarded to BM Pay directly.
What does it cost?
Fees are charged per transaction and shown before you confirm. Ask us for current rates.
BSP Pay live across the BM apps and the store
In September 2026, real kina started moving through BM Pay: Konekt first, then WanBung, then the store's first BSP Pay order on 23 September.
